I didn’t expect info for the next downloadable content (DLC) for borderlands to come out so fast after the release of zombie island’s PC version, but here it is. It is said to be a new gameplay mode for borderlands, called “riot”. Heres an opening cinematic video from youtube:
There are suppose to be 3 new arenas in this mode, and fight against 5 waves of enemies. This reminds me of a particular fun quest in borderlands which has an arena as well, thus i’m really excited for this release. However, there seems to be no experience gain for killing the enemies unlike normal gameplay and playing through zombie island, which feels weird as there are usually experience for everything you kill. An interesting feature in this DLC is that if you die, you get warped into a box above the arena, which then allows you to shoot from above but cannot get out. You can help your team mates from there, but you already lost that round. This is quite an interesting add on, and im looking forward to it.
